Nestle on Tuesday agreed to divest Holistic Health platform<\/a>, its mainstream vitamins, minerals and supplements (VMS) business, to private equity \u200cfirm \u2060Yellow Wood Partners \u2060for $1 billion, according to a statement from the two companies.<\/p>\n

The deal includes seven brands – Nature’s Bounty<\/a>, Osteo Bi-Flex<\/a>, Ester-C<\/a>, Gard, Nuun, Puritan’s Pride and Sisu – and the U.S. private-label \u2060supplements business, \u200cthe Swiss food giant said in its statement.

“We are \u2060focusing our resources where we have the strongest competitive advantage”, Nestle<\/a> CEO Philipp Navratil said, adding that “the mainstream VMS business requires a different approach under dedicated ownership”.<\/p>\n

The deal, which is expected to \u200cclose by the first half of 2027, is Yellow Wood’s \u200bsixth acquisition \u200bfrom \u2060major consumer companies since 2019.<\/p>\n
