\n\tThe Zurich<\/a> Film Festival will fete Julianne Moore<\/a> with its Golden Icon Award. She will accept the award in person in Zurich, accompanied by Jesse Eisenberg, who directed the Academy Award winner in The Debut.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Debut marks Moore\u2019s second collaboration with director Jesse Eisenberg, following Eisenberg\u2019s directorial debut, When You Finish Saving the World (2022). The film follows Mona Friedman (Moore), who is cast in a bit part at a small community theater. She transforms from a shy, unassuming housewife into a zealous method actor willing to do anything to protect the artistic integrity of her marginal role \u2013 even if it means waging war against the show\u2019s domineering director.<\/p>\n
