Wipro has renewed its Digital Workplace Services contract with ABB, extending an arrangement that has run for several years and covers technology services used by the latter’s employees worldwide. <\/p>\n
Under the renewed agreement, Wipro will continue to provide end-to-end, AI-enabled digital workplace services across ABB’s global operations. <\/p>\n
Wipro said it would also work on employee experience, using automation, AI-based service tools and workplace modernisation measures. <\/p>\n
The work will draw on Wipro Intelligence, the company’s suite of AI platforms and offerings, and will be delivered through its AI Live Workspace and Digital Workplace Services propositions. <\/p>\n
Day-to-day operations will run on WINGS, Wipro’s AI-powered delivery platform. <\/p>\n
The company said its AI for IT operations (AIOps) capability, SmartOps, would be used to make workplace services more autonomous and predictive, including GenAI-powered self-service, virtual agents, auto-remediation and AI-assisted dispatch. <\/p>\n
Wipro added that it would use telemetry and usage data to manage the lifecycle of employee devices and to support endpoint security operations, alongside ABB’s digital transformation and sustainability goals. <\/p>\n

Wipro said the contract builds on its existing presence in the industrial and manufacturing sector, where companies are updating workplace operations to support agility, productivity and employee experience internationally. <\/p>\n

In August 2025, Wipro announced<\/a> the acquisition of the Digital Transformation Solutions (DTS) unit of Harman, a Samsung subsidiary. The deal closed in December 2025. <\/p>\n
