The centerpiece is a 600 million-real infant-formula factory in Minas Gerais\u2014a direct bet on producing more locally and importing less.<\/p>\n

The project sits inside Nestl\u00e9’s much larger 7 billion-real Brazilian investment program. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2027, with production targeted for 2028. If execution stays on track, the factory could strengthen domestic supply, reduce import dependence and position Brazil as an export base. Nestl\u00e9 is not simply adding another plant.
