(WITN) &#8211; A section of a road in New Bern will close tomorrow as crews work to fix a collapsed culvert.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">New Bern officials say a part of Trent Road will be closed Monday through Friday to fix a collapsing culvert underneath the roadway on the 3500 block. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Contractor crews will cut the road open, remove the culvert &amp; replace it. Work will begin at 5:30 a.m. Monday and is set to wrap up around 5 p.m. on Friday. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">A detour will be set up using Commerce Drive and McCarthy Boulevard.<\/p>\n<p class=\"copyright |\">Copyright 2025 WITN.
