The next Winter Olympics will take place in the French Alps from Feb. 1-17, 2030.<\/a><\/p>\n

Here is what you need to know about the upcoming games that will follow the Milano Cortina Winter Olympics four years from now.<\/p>\n

The 2030 Winter Olympics will be held in four different locations in the French Alps, including Nice, Brian\u00e7on, Haute-Savoie and Savoie, according to the International Olympic Committee.<\/a><\/p>\n

France is no stranger to hosting the Winter Olympics.<\/p>\n

It hosted the inaugural Winter Games in 1924 in Chamonix, again in Grenoble in 1968 and a third time in 1992 in Albertville, according to Sports Illustrated.<\/a><\/p>\n

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has scheduled future Olympic games in cities through 2034.<\/p>\n

The 2028 Summer Olympics will take place in Los Angeles, California<\/a>, in the United States, from July 14-30, and the 2032 Summer Olympics will take place in Brisbane, Australia<\/a>, from July 23-Aug. 8.<\/p>\n

Brisbane won its Olympic bid for 2032 without having to compete with a rival bid, according to the Associated Press<\/a>.<\/p>\n

For the 2030 Winter Olympics, the French Alps will host<\/a>, and the 2034 Winter Olympics will take place in Salt Lake City, Utah<\/a>, in the United States.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The next Winter Olympics will take place in the French Alps from Feb. 1-17, 2030.
