Sarah Ferguson\u00a0has been dealing with the fallout of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. Earlier this month, on the morning of his 66th birthday, Andrew was arrested<\/a> on suspicion of misconduct in public office. Ferguson<\/a>, his ex-wife, has been keeping a low profile, with news outlets reporting that she recently checked into an expensive wellness retreat.\u00a0<\/p>\n

As reported by our sister website Hello, Ferguson<\/a> left the UK earlier this year, following the removal of the title of Duchess of York and the fact that she would not be residing in the home she shared with Andrew<\/a> for the past decades. He has also been asked to leave the home, relocating to a new place.<\/p>\n

Ferguson reportedly stayed at the\u00a0Paracelsus Recovery Clinic in Zurich, Switzerland, for a month-long stay that started after Christmas and concluded in late January.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The clinic is luxurious, located near a lake and featuring different recovery programs, with guests having access to chefs and chauffeurs. The stay at the clinic reportedly costs $17,500 a day.<\/p>\n

“The space isn’t curated to show off. Many of my clients are wealthy founders, and we invite them to dinner in our home to help them feel welcomed,” said Jan Gerber, the clinic’s chief executive, in an interview with Hello.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“Sometimes Jil cooks for clients, and we recreate the feeling of a family home, which helps to relax and reset the nervous system and calm clients down,” he said, mentioning his business partner.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“When the environment fosters a sense of security and comfort, the nervous system shifts out of a heightened state of alertness, allowing for deeper psychological healing. Many of these processes happen subconsciously, making the design and ambience of a healing space more influential than we often realise.”<\/p>\n

According to the clinic’s website, the center is equipped to treat numerous mental health conditions, including addiction, depression, burnout, anxiety, trauma, and more.<\/p>\n

Last week, Andrew<\/a> was arrested for 10 hours, with UK police investigating his ties with Jeffrey Epstein as a suspect of misconduct while serving in public office.\u00a0<\/p>\n

King Charles published a statement<\/a> following Andrew’s arrest, sharing his support for the police. “I have learned with the deepest concern the news about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and suspicion of misconduct in public office. What now follows is the full, fair and proper process by which this issue is investigated in the appropriate manner and by the appropriate authorities,” he wrote.<\/p>\n

“In this, as I have said before, they have our full and wholehearted support and co-operation.\u00a0Let me state clearly: the law must take its course. As this process continues, it would not be right for me to comment further on this matter. Meanwhile, my family and I will continue in our duty and service to you all.”\u00a0<\/p>\n
