The Halloween celebrations have already started going into this Halloween week, and in New Bern, there was fun for all ages.<\/p>\n
From the spooky, to the silly and everything in between, New Bern\u2019s Halloween celebration had all kinds of tricks, and treats.<\/p>\n
This is why we do it, for the community and for people to participate and have a good time.<\/p>\n
New Bern parks and recreation director Carrie Warren says the Halloween celebration is fun for the whole family, including the pups.<\/p>\n
We\u2019re having a huge Halloween party here in the park where you have the witches ride that took off at 5 pm, we just wrapped up our costume party.<\/p>\n
And one young witch brought home a special prize after her first time flying with the witches ride.<\/p>\n
It was really fun, and afterwards they had a contest for best decorated bike and Best Costume, and I got first place for best costume.<\/p>\n
Hannah and her family say they are looking forward to next years ride, and she has a special message for the community.<\/p>\n
