\"\"\/Praveen Voona<\/a> has been appointed as HR Leader \u2013 People & Culture Business Partner<\/a> for Middle East and Africa, and India at ABB Robotics<\/a>, marking a key addition to the company\u2019s regional leadership as it strengthens workforce capability across high-growth markets. In his new role, Voona<\/a> will be responsible for driving people strategy, organisational effectiveness, workforce planning, and leadership development across the region, supporting ABB\u2019s continued expansion in robotics, machine automation, and digital services.<\/p>\n

Voona joins ABB after more than 15 years with Airbus, where he held several strategic HR leadership roles spanning enterprise transformation and Global Capability Centre (GCC) growth. Most recently, as Head of HR for Airbus India\u2019s Digital & Information Management GCC, he partnered closely with global and India leadership to define and execute the people agenda for a mission-critical digital hub. During this period, he played a central role in scaling the digital workforce from approximately 25 to 1,500 employees within five years, while establishing a structured leadership ecosystem across frontline, middle, and senior leadership levels. Alongside this, he served as Business Owner for the end-to-end Workday implementation, leading HR digital transformation initiatives that strengthened governance, modernised decision-making, and enhanced employee experience at scale.<\/p>\n

Earlier in his tenure at Airbus, Voona led Talent Acquisition, Employer Branding, and HR Digitalisation across India and South Asia, contributing to the expansion of engineering and digital GCC talent from around 300 to 2,000 employees and improving employer brand positioning in India. An alumnus of executive programmes at the Indian School of Business and currently part of the FUTURE CHRO programme, he brings expertise in enterprise HR strategy, organisational design, leadership development, and large-scale workforce transformation. <\/p>\n
