Man wanted for New Bern cannabis store theft"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text | article-text\">NEW BERN, N.C. (WITN) &#8211; Police need your help finding a man who they say stole from a cannabis store.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">On Thursday morning, officers were called to a theft at the Above the Roots store on South Glenburnie Road. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">According to an employee, a man in all black and a black face mask walked into the store and pocketed merchandise. The employee confronted him, which led the man to spray their face and eyes with body mist before running off.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The man looks to be in his 30s and has a medium build. Authorities have yet to discover whether he was armed, but they say there is a possibility due to his behavior.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Police sent out K-9s and found the stolen items trashed by the man when he ran away.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">If you have any information on who the man is, you are asked to call the police at 252-672-4200.<\/p>\n<p class=\"copyright |\">Copyright 2025 WITN.
