The World Archery executive board will convene this weekend in Lausanne (Switzerland) for a comprehensive meeting to outline priorities for the federation\u2019s long-term future.<\/p>\n
It is the first time the executive board has met in person since the Hyundai World Archery Championships in September in Gwangju (Korea), where Greg Easton<\/a> was elected the federation\u2019s 10th president<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n Hosting the first meeting in the Olympic Capital reconfirms World Archery\u2019s commitment to the Olympic Movement. The outcomes of the International Olympic Committee Summit held in Lausanne last week<\/a> will be a key topic at the meeting, particularly the latest recommendations regarding AIN status.<\/p>\n Possible qualification procedures for the upcoming LA28 Olympic Games<\/a> and Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games<\/a> will be presented.<\/p>\n The event will also mark the formal introductions of new secretary general Raul Calin<\/a> and executive director Juan Carlos Holgado<\/a> to the board.
