He wanders through the store and notices how other children have their parents by their side, helping them choose the perfect outfit. A quiet sense of longing crosses his face as he compares himself to them.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"644\" data-end=\"1109\">When Aman finally returns home, he fumbles with his sampin (&#8216;traditional sarong&#8217;), struggling to wrap it correctly. His mother approaches him softly and explains that the sampin  was his father\u2019s favourite. As she helps him wrap it, she reminds him to always remember him.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1111\" data-end=\"1448\">With the sampin finally in place, his mother embraces him warmly, encouraging him to carry these memories forward as he joins the Hari Raya celebrations.<\/p>\n<p data-end=\"1448\" data-start=\"1111\">The scene captures both the quiet intimacy of family bonds and the enduring presence of love across generations, reflecting the film\u2019s central theme of remembrance and connection.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Festivity is deeply personal, shaped by memory as much as presence. At Zurich, we believe care does not end when someone is no longer physically here,&#8221; said Erin Hwang, head of brand marketing and communications, Zurich Malaysia.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The legacy of love continues, binding us across all generations and cultures. By acknowledging both celebration and quiet reflection, this film reflects our commitment to stand with Malaysians in every moment,&#8221; added Hwang.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In tandem,\u00a0Chua Soo May, group brand director at MBCS, explained that the film uses the simple sampin (traditional sarong) as a symbolic bridge between past and present, illustrating how love and memory outlast physical absence.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Raya is not just about celebration, but also about remembrance and continuity [&#8230;] We wanted to show that the absence of the loved one does not erase the love. It lives on through traditions, memories and the legacy they leave behind,&#8221; said Chua.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Erti perayaan yang menyatukan kita&#8221; forms part of Zurich Malaysia&#8217;s broader festive narrative to reinforce its role as a steady presence for families in every season of life.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>For Chinese New Year, the insurance company unveiled <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marketing-interactive.com\/zurich-s-cny-film-shines-a-light-on-the-quieter-side-of-celebration\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">&#8220;The two sides of festivity&#8221;<\/a>, a short film that explores the\u00a0emotional duality of the festive season, acknowledging that while many celebrate with joy and laughter, others move through the period carrying grief, longing and quiet absence.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"774\" data-end=\"1179\">Set against the familiar backdrop of Chinese New Year preparations, &#8220;The two sides of festivity&#8221; follows a couple navigating the celebrations while coping with the loss of a loved one.
