Back in January<\/a>, Swiss Broadcaster SRG SSR revealed that they are sending Veronica Fusaro to wave the Swiss flag in Vienna this May.<\/p>\n

With almost all the other songs known already, Switzerland has now officially joined the list. Veronica Fusaro will be singing “Alice<\/a>” at Eurovision 2026, and it is now available to listen to.<\/p>\n

“Alice” is a brand-new version of a song which appears on Veronica’s most recent album, Looking For Connection.<\/p>\n

“Alice<\/a>” was selected out of the 493 songs submitted for the internal selection to determine the Swiss representative. Once advancing through all the multi-stage processes, the song was selected after a 50\/50 split between an international public vote and a professional jury.<\/p>\n

The artistic direction of this song will be held by Fredrik “Benke” Rydman, who has staged some notable acts in modern ESC: “Heroes” (Sweden 2015<\/a>), “Cha Cha Cha” (Finland 2023<\/a>), and “The Code” (Switzerland 2024<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Switzerland has been present in the Grand Final each year ESC has been held since 2019. Veronica Fusaro looks to continue the streak by advancing from Semi-final 2 on 14 May.<\/p>\n

Veronica Fusaro is a 28-year-old singer-songwriter from Thun who has built her career through live performances and several releases in recent years.<\/p>\n

She first gained wider attention with her debut EP and later albums, which established her as a well-known name on the Swiss music scene.<\/p>\n

Veronica Fusaro is widely regarded as a strong live artist. In 2016, she received the Best Talent award from Swiss national radio SRF 3, an important step early in her career. Since then, she has performed in more than 500 concerts in Switzerland and internationally, appearing at major festivals such as Glastonbury, Montreux Jazz Festival, and Gurtenfestival. She also opened for Mark Knopfler in concert at the Amphitheatre of N\u00eemes.<\/p>\n
