{"id":30813,"date":"2026-03-12T16:03:19","date_gmt":"2026-03-12T16:03:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ch\/30813\/"},"modified":"2026-03-12T16:03:19","modified_gmt":"2026-03-12T16:03:19","slug":"dolphins-lose-star-edge-rusher-bradley-chubb-to-the-bills","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ch\/30813\/","title":{"rendered":"Dolphins lose star edge rusher Bradley Chubb to the Bills"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Miami Dolphins will now have to face Bradley Chubb twice a year.<\/p>\n<p>Minutes after the Dolphins made the edge rusher\u2019s <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"Follow nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.miamiherald.com\/sports\/nfl\/miami-dolphins\/article314717011.html\">release official<\/a>, Chubb <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"Follow nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/AdamSchefter\/status\/2031828809482211792?s=20\">signed a three-year, $43.5 million deal<\/a> with the Buffalo Bills, according to multiple reports. Approximately $29 million is guaranteed.<\/p>\n<p>Chubb now joins a Bills squad that will look to snatch the AFC East crown after the New England Patriots took it and ran all the way to the Super Bowl.<\/p>\n<p>In his <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"Follow nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/C\/ChubBr00.htm\">three seasons in Miami<\/a>, Chubb racked up 22 sacks, nine forced fumbles and 133 combined tackles.<\/p>\n<p>The star edge rusher arrived in Miami via trade during the 2022 season. Chubb was amidst a Pro Bowl season in 2023 \u2014 11 sacks, six forced fumbles and 22 quarterback hits \u2014 before he suffered a gruesome knee injury. Late in the fourth quarter of a lopsided loss to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 17, the two-time Pro Bowler tore his anterior cruciate ligament, patella tendon and meniscus in his right knee.<\/p>\n<p>Chubb would miss the entire 2024 season.<\/p>\n<p>In 2025, Chubb returned a found some semblance of his old self.
