Florine Gaspard and Mary-Sophie Harvey came away from day one of the Lausanne Swim Cup with two golds apiece.<\/p>\n

Gaspard \u2013 coached by Mark Faber in Antwerp \u2013 won the 50m breaststroke in 30.55 \u2013 0.02 shy of her Belgian record of 30.53 \u2013 before returning for the 50 free at the end of the evening.<\/p>\n

There she got her hand to the wall in 24.61, 0.19 off her national standard of 24.42. Beryl Gastaldello (24.74) and Marie Wattel (24.77) followed the Belgian home.<\/p>\n

Harvey began her programme in the fastest heat of the 400 free where she was 0.59 behind Anna Egorova at the 300m mark. The Canadian reduced the deficit to 0.06 at the final turn and came past the Russian on the last 50 to touch in 4:10.09 to 4:10.38. Noemi Cesarano was next home in 4:11.51.<\/p>\n

Harvey, a three-time world medallist, was back in the water for the 400IM in which she traded the lead with Italian Anna Pirovano. She pulled away on the freestyle to ultimately enjoy a winning margin of two seconds over Pirovano in 4:40.77 to 4:42.78.<\/p>\n

Razzetti Secures Podium Double After Gruelling Back-To-Back Events<\/p>\n

Alberto Razzetti had an eye-watering quick turnaround. The Italian won the men\u2019s 400IM in 4:19.49 before returning to the water a little over 15 minutes later for the 200 fly.<\/p>\n

Federico Burdisso, bronze medallist at the Tokyo Olympics, enjoyed a clear win in 1:57.26 with Razzetti next home in 1:59.18 and Gianmarco Foglia making it an Italian clean sweep in 1:59.65.<\/p>\n

Maxime Grousset headed the 50 free in 21.78 ahead of Meiron Amir Cheruti (21.91) and Patrick Sammon (22.14).<\/p>\n

Olympic silver medallist Roman Mityukov dominated the 200 back in 1:56.07 with France\u2019s Mewen Tomac (1:59.25) and Thomas Ceccon (1:59.61) joining the Swiss on the podium.<\/p>\n

Caspar Corbeau \u2013 who trains with Gaspard in Antwerp \u2013 breached the 27sec barrier for the fourth time in his career in 26.95.<\/p>\n
