{"id":32302,"date":"2026-03-15T05:04:05","date_gmt":"2026-03-15T05:04:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ch\/32302\/"},"modified":"2026-03-15T05:04:05","modified_gmt":"2026-03-15T05:04:05","slug":"blackpinks-jennie-art-basel-cj-hendry-the-top-hong-kong-events-to-catch-in-march","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ch\/32302\/","title":{"rendered":"Blackpink\u2019s Jennie, Art Basel, Cj Hendry: the top Hong Kong events to catch in March"},"content":{"rendered":"<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">With two weeks of Hong Kong arts month remaining, the city will continue to host a rich array of events, from a pop culture convention to a slew of art exhibitions.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">The South China Morning Post highlights some of the best shows taking place in the rest of March.<\/p>\n<p>From ComplexCon to classical concerts<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">Pop culture festival ComplexCon will return to Hong Kong for its third edition on March 21 and 22, with headliners including Jennie from K-pop powerhouse Blackpink and American rapper Yeat, making his Asian debut.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">With home-grown designer Kasing Lung \u2013 the creator of Labubu \u2013 as its artistic director this year, the convention at AsiaWorld-Expo will feature an array of booths, where attendees can shop for streetwear, art, sports items and food.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">The 54th edition of the Hong Kong Arts Festival, which began in late February, has also brought over 1,100 shows to the city, including Tchaikovsky\u2019s opera Eugene Onegin and Dvorak\u2019s choral masterpiece Requiem, performed by the Czech Republic\u2019s National Theatre Brno.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">Other performers at the festival include Ballet Nacional de Espana, Suzhou Song and Dance Theatre from mainland China, string quartet Novus from South Korea and home-grown pianist Aristo Sham.
