March 17 (Reuters) – UBS Group’s global technology systems \u200chave been nearly restored on Tuesday after \u200ca brief incident that impacted some of its trading \u200bbusiness, a person familiar with the matter told Reuters.<\/p>\n
The bank has identified the cause and deployed a fix, the person said. UBS has not issued \u200ca statement on \u2060the incident, which was first reported by Bloomberg.<\/p>\n
The incident comes as markets grapple \u2060with increased volatility due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East and growing concerns \u200bregarding private \u200bcredit.<\/p>\n
Several other financial institutions \u200bhave also recently \u200cfaced incidents impacting their services, leading to a wider scrutiny of robustness of banks’ digital channels.<\/p>\n
