Geneva, Switzerland \u2014 March 16, 2026: Supporters of the Iranian Resistance, joined by Kurdish, Baluch, and Arab compatriots, as well as representatives of other ethnic minorities, gathered outside the United Nations headquarters in Geneva. They called for the overthrow of the clerical dictatorship and expressed support for the National Council of Resistance of Iran\u2019s (NCRI<\/a>) announcement of a provisional government.<\/p>\n

Participants reaffirmed their rejection of both the former monarchical<\/a> system and the current religious dictatorship, stressing that Iran\u2019s future must be determined by its people through a democratic process. They also voiced strong support for the ten-point plan<\/a> proposed by Mrs. Maryam Rajavi<\/a>, President-elect of the NCRI, describing it as a comprehensive roadmap for a transitional government founded on universal suffrage, gender equality, individual freedoms, and the rule of law.<\/p>\n

They also held a photo exhibition honoring the martyrs of the Iranian uprising, particularly those of the January 2026 protests, expressing solidarity with the Iranian people and paying tribute by laying flowers in their memory.<\/p>\n

They also referred to this year\u2019s Chaharshanbe Suri celebrations, chanting that \u201cthe flames of this year\u2019s festival represent the people\u2019s anger toward the mullahs\u2019 regime.\u201d<\/p>\n
