{"id":35042,"date":"2026-03-19T12:14:13","date_gmt":"2026-03-19T12:14:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ch\/35042\/"},"modified":"2026-03-19T12:14:13","modified_gmt":"2026-03-19T12:14:13","slug":"nestle-india-adds-munch-production-line-at-sanand-plant-with-%e2%82%b9225-crore-investment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ch\/35042\/","title":{"rendered":"Nestl\u00e9 India adds Munch production line at Sanand plant with \u20b9225 crore investment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a class=\"stockpage_articles\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbctv18.com\/market\/stocks\/nestle-india-ltd-share-price\/NI\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Nestl\u00e9 India Ltd<\/a> on Thursday, March 19, said it has added a new &#8216;Munch&#8217; production line at its Sanand factory in Gujarat as part of its capacity expansion plans.<\/p>\n<p>In an exchange filing, the company said the expansion involves an investment of around \u20b9225 crore, funded through internal accruals.<\/p>\n<p>\nThe new line will add an annual production capacity of approximately 8,300 tonnes and is expected to be operational within FY26.<br \/>Nestl\u00e9 India said the move is part of its broader capital expenditure programme across greenfield and brownfield projects aimed at enhancing overall production capacity to meet future demand.<\/p>\n<p>The company also noted that Munch is manufactured at multiple facilities, with the Sanand expansion strengthening its supply capabilities for the popular confectionery brand.<\/p>\n<p>For the December quarter, Nestle India reported a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbctv18.com\/market\/nestle-india-q3-results-volume-growth-ad-spends-margin-contraction-share-price-move-19837001.htm\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">46% increase in net profit from last year to \u20b91,018 crore<\/a>. Revenue rose 18.5% year-on-year to \u20b95,667 crore, higher than the CNBC-TV18 poll of \u20b95,260 crore.<\/p>\n<p>EBITDA was up 9% from last year at \u20b91,201 crore, and in line with the CNBC-TV18 poll of \u20b91,202 crore. EBITDA margin narrowed by 200 basis points to 21.1% from 23.1% last year, lower than the CNBC-TV18 poll of 23%.<\/p>\n<p>Shares of the company ended 1.23% lower at \u20b91,190 ahead of the announcement on Thursday.
