\"\"\/ New Delhi: Swiss Pharma major Roche India arm has announced a research capability building collaboration with National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) Raebareli. <\/p>\n

The partnership will include various industry-academia engagements such as a certificate program in regulatory affairs<\/a> for students, guest lecture series by industry experts on emerging trends in AI for drug development. <\/p>\n

Speaking on the occasion, Manoj Joshi, Secretary, Department of Pharmaceuticals (DoP) said, \u201cIndia needs to develop urgent capabilities in regulatory sciences, biologics and AI in Pharma for developing sustained global competitive advantage and assert its global position. Collaborations like these between academia and industry are critical to meet those aspirations.\u201d<\/p>\n
