(WITN) &#8211; The \u2018New Bern Strong\u2019 mural has been painted over.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The mural, formerly located at 328 South Front Street in Downtown New Bern, was painted over for the production of a new mural. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">In a post by the Craven Arts Council \/ Bank of the Arts, the organization states, \u201cWe are deeply saddened to see this mural go.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The post goes on to say that all community murals completed by the Craven Arts Council and Gallery in conjunction with a business or organization are ultimately at will and responsibility of whoever has ownership of the building.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The property of the formal mural was sold in 2025 by the new owner, King &amp; Lasso.<\/p>\n<p class=\"copyright |\">Copyright 2026 WITN.
