Joe Gomez is injury-prone, while Virgil van Dijk is 34, so Liverpool are still looking for a new centre-back.<\/p>\n<p>Roggerio Nyakossi ready to join Liverpool<\/p>\n<p>According to Belgian publication <a rel=\"noopener nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nieuwsblad.be\/sport\/voetbal\/passeert-oh-leuven-straks-langs-de-kassa-marseille-en-liverpool-azen-op-verdediger-roggerio-nyakossi\/143747553.html\" target=\"_blank\">Het Nieuwsblad<\/a>, Liverpool want to sign Roggerio Nyakossi from OH Leuven in the summer of 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Marseille sold Nyakossi to OH Leuven\u00a0in January 2025 and inserted a buy-back clause in the deal.<\/p>\n<p>For Liverpool to sign the 22-year-old Swiss defender, they need to first wait and see if Marseille will exercise that buy-back clause.<\/p>\n<p>The Belgian outfit has gone on to claim that \u2018Nyakossi would very much like to play for Liverpool\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>The youngster, who is under contract at OH Leuven until the summer of 2027, has scored three goals in 19 appearances for the Belgian Pro League club this season.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Want more breaking transfer lines from original sources?
