(WITN) &#8211; Police have charged a woman with arson after a fire broke out at a New Bern apartment complex. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Police say that Kiandra Lunan, 31, has been charged with first-degree arson. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">New Bern Fire-Rescue and police officers went to a fire at the D2 building of Craven Terrace around 10:16 this morning. Crews found smoke coming from the first and second floors of the apartment and started evacuating residents. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Police say that Lunan intentionally started the fire. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">She\u2019s being held without bond in the Craven County Jail. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Her first appearance is scheduled for tomorrow. <\/p>\n<p class=\"copyright |\">Copyright 2026 WITN.
