It joins more than 70 members, including the University of Zurich, Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, SBB and Google. With its membership, ETH Zurich aims to actively shape the discussion on digital inclusion and participation and to contribute scientific perspectives to the further development of relevant standards.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This is ADIS\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>Digital communication channels and digital services are omnipresent in Switzerland and at ETH Zurich. However, more than 20 per cent of the population do not have the necessary skills to use digital technologies. In addition, insufficiently accessible systems and user interfaces pose a significant barrier to accessing information and online services, especially for people with disabilities.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Against this backdrop, ADIS is committed to promoting an inclusive digital society. The platform brings together experts and organisations to exchange knowledge and discuss current developments in the field of digital participation. Various specialist groups analyse technological trends and existing processes, develop guidelines for more inclusive digital offerings and support their implementation in practice.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"In March, ETH Zurich joined the external page Alliance for Digital Inclusion (ADIS).
