He also stood out for several technical errors, demonstrating that Havertz still lacks match rhythm after his long injury layoff. Rating: 4

While another, Abendzeitung-Muenchen, weren’t quite as harsh in their words.

After a long injury layoff, he’s fighting his way back to his former strength. Then the Arsenal striker shot over the bar (36′).

Havertz return is good news for Arsenal

While the performance might not have been great, for Arsenal, it was just important to see Havertz get some minutes and come through unscathed.

He seems to have done that and his return to the Arsenal team will be a huge boost over the coming weeks when things really matter.

With Noni Madueke picking up an injury for England and Ethan Nwaneri also picking up a knock, this international break was looking bleak for Arsenal.

But with Havertz back, it’s a small positive and Mikel Arteta will be hoping his striker returns in good health, ready to fire the Gunners over the line.

Join Our Newsletter

Receive a digest of our best Arsenal content each week direct to your mailbox

Add as preferred source on Google Kai Havertz made his return to football last night with Germany but…

[4
23275,17
0":"post-40485","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-switzerland","8":"tag-kai-havertz","9":"tag-switzerland
["GET
