This position was also publicly expressed during recent parliamentary debates on neutrality,\u201d Addor said in an interview,<a href=\"https:\/\/caliber.az\/en\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> Caliber.Az<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">He added that moving away from a neutral stance toward external pressure affects Switzerland\u2019s role as an independent international mediator.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cSwiss policy should primarily serve the interests of Switzerland and its citizens.
