Tiger Woods\u2019 private jet reportedly touched down in Zurich, Switzerland, days after the golf legend requested permission from a judge to travel outside of Florida to \u201cseek treatment\u201d amid his DUI case<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The professional athlete\u2019s plane is said to have landed in the European country early Friday morning, according to TMZ.<\/p>\n

Page Six was unable to independently confirm if Woods, 50, was aboard the flight to Zurich when it landed.<\/p>\n

A rep for Woods did not immediately respond to Page Six\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n

The trip comes days after Woods announced to his followers that he planned to\u00a0step away from golf to \u201cseek treatment\u201d <\/a>following his appearance in court, where he pleaded not guilty<\/a> in his latest DUI case.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today,\u201d he shared via X on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Woods added that he was \u201ccommitted\u201d to taking the necessary time he needs so he can \u201creturn in a healthier, stronger, and more focused place, both personally and professionally.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, it was reported that Woods filed a petition with the court, asking for the judge\u2019s permission to leave Florida so he could enroll himself in a treatment facility out of the country<\/a>.<\/p>\n

His attorney Douglas Duncan cited \u201cprivacy\u201d concerns as the main reason for his need to travel.<\/p>\n

\u201cBased upon the Defendant\u2019s treating physician, the out of country treatment facility recommendation is based upon the Defendant\u2019s complex clinical presentation and the urgent need for a level of care that cannot safely or effectively be done within the United States, as his privacy has been repeatedly compromised,\u201d the documents said.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, it was reported that Woods\u2019 attorney Douglas Duncan had asked the court for permission for Woods to travel outside of Florida to get help.<\/p>\n

Duncan cited \u201cprivacy\u201d concerns as the reason for Woods\u2019 need to seek treatment so far away from the court. Martin County Sheriff’s Office<\/p>\n

Duncan argued that not being afforded the ability to get treatment out of the country could lead to \u201csetbacks and an inability to fully engage in treatment.\u201d<\/p>\n

Woods found himself in legal trouble once again last Friday after he was involved in a rollover car crash in Jupiter, Florida, subsequently earning him charges of misdemeanor DUI with property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test when he denied a urinalysis test.<\/p>\n

Police body camera footage<\/a> showed the events leading up to Woods\u2019 arrest. In one clip, the professional golfer was seen talking to police officers after he climbed out of his flipped over Land Rover.<\/p>\n

A second video<\/a> showed Woods failing the multiple sobriety tests he was given at the scene before they took him into custody.<\/p>\n

In addition to the criminal DUI charge, Woods was also hit with a noncriminal traffic citation for careless driving resulting in a car crash.<\/p>\n

According to a\u00a0police report obtained by Page Six<\/a>, authorities claimed that the golfer was holding \u201ctwo white pills\u201d inside his \u201cleft side pant pocket\u201d that were later \u201crevealed to be hydrocodone.\u201d<\/p>\n

The affidavit revealed that he confessed to taking \u201ca few\u201d prescription medications despite Woods\u2019 original claims that he had not consumed any alcohol or illegal substances before the crash.<\/p>\n
