TMZ confirmed his plane landed in Zurich around 10 a.m. local time. The jet is said to have then returned to the U.S.<\/p>\n<p>The gossip site didn\u2019t confirm spotting Woods, though it\u2019s assumed he could be headed to a Swiss rehabilitation clinic for help with his alleged addiction issues.<\/p>\n<p>Woods was arrested on March 27 after his SUV clipped a work vehicle near the golfer\u2019s Florida home and wound-up on its side. Police reported finding two <a href=\"https:\/\/www.drugs.com\/hydrocodone.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">hydrocodone pills<\/a> in the 50-year-old Presidential Medal of Freedom winner\u2019s pockets when he was searched at the crash site. He allegedly confessed to taking painkillers the morning of the afternoon incident.<\/p>\n<p>Woods said on Tuesday that he would take time away to focus on his recovery.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/tigerwoods\/status\/2039110644255891907?s=46&amp;t=jV7ZCEIlgfY2hPPwd4j3PA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">he posted<\/a> on X<\/p>\n<p>Augusta National Golf Club Chairman Fred Ridley confirmed Woods <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nydailynews.com\/2026\/04\/01\/tiger-woods-no-masters-tournament-dui\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">will not be competing<\/a> for a sixth Masters Tournament championship when competition begins in Georgia on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Woods\u2019 attorney convinced a Florida court that his famous client needed to seek treatment abroad due to privacy concerns.<\/p>\n<p>TMZ reported that Woods appeared to have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nydailynews.com\/2026\/04\/02\/tiger-woods-called-trump-crash-scene-tmz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">called President Trump<\/a> while authorities were investigating last week\u2019s auto crash.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/athletic\/7152847\/2026\/03\/27\/tiger-woods-dui-arrest-jupiter-island-accident-timeline\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">He\u2019s got some difficulty,<\/a>\u201d the president told reporters from an airport tarmac on the day Woods was arrested.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Tiger Woods\u2019 private plane reportedly touched down in Zurich on Friday.
