Capital & Centric has offloaded its Ferrous project in Manchester into its joint venture with Homes England and Swiss Life Asset Managers.<\/p>\n
The Impact & Places housing partnership was formed in November last year, with an ambition to deliver over 2,250 homes across the UK. The transformation of the former industrial site on Chapletown Street will kick start the plan.<\/p>\n
The project will receive a share of the Impact & Places proposed \u00a3860m of investment into residential-led regeneration. The total funds are expected to be deployed over the next decade in regions with high housing demand.<\/p>\n
Ferrous features 107 rental flats with a resident rooftop terrace, alongside two green pocket parks and The Cabin, a new space for food providers, pop-ups and parties.<\/p>\n
With planning permission already in place, works on the site are scheduled to start by the end of this year, with the first homes expected to be completed by mid to late 2028.<\/p>\n
