Switzerland is all set to house a groundbreaking new project by Maison Cailler, a Swiss chocolate-themed tourist park. The chocolate theme park, monikered the \u201cParc du chocolat Cailler\u201d, will be spread across 30,000 square metres, and is slated to open in 2030 in Broc, Gruy\u00e8re. It will be set at the site of Maison Cailler\u2019s existing chocolate factory. The pre-opening of the theme park is scheduled between late 2027 and mid-2028.<\/p>\n

Visitors will be treated to an immersive experience at the chocolate theme park, including a behind-the-scenes look at how chocolates are made, tasting new items, and taking part in workshops with master chocolatiers. The plans include demolishing Maison Cailler\u2019s existing museum to make way for a new building to host the cooking workshops.<\/p>\n Did you know?<\/p>\n Maison Cailler is the oldest chocolate brand in Switzerland.<\/p>\n According to Euro News<\/a>, the theme park, once completed, will be home to a hotel with multiple restaurants. A multi-purpose parking lot will be located in the En Liaubon area. The theme park will also be directly connected to the Swiss rail network. There will also be a Cacao Greenhouse, which will be home to cocoa trees, and will inform visitors about the origins of cacao, how it\u2019s grown and more. The exhibit will also highlight the use of Gruyere milk in making the chocolate.
