Image Credit: Karachi Port Trust<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tGlobal commodity trading firm Vitol has carried out the largest delivery of marine fuels ever undertaken at Karachi Port in Pakistan.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tVitol delivered 4,900 mt of fuel to the\u00a0MSC Apollo\u00a0at Karachi on Monday, the Karachi Port Trust said in a social media post.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tThe 8,670 DWT delivery vessel\u00a0Marine Ista\u00a0was used for the operation.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\t&#8220;The vessel made a bunker-only call at KPT area,&#8221; the port authority said in the post.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\t&#8220;This milestone highlights KPT and its stakeholders&#8217; enhanced capability to handle large vessels for bunkering and emerging as bunkering hub.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\t&#8220;This expanding market will afford significant boost to Pakistan\u2019s refinery and maritime sectors.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tVitol offers bunkering services at Karachi Anchorage, Karachi Port, and Port Qasim.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"&#13; Vitol delivered 4,900 mt of fuel to the MSC Apollo at Karachi on Monday.
