At 2:58 PM, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.business-standard.com\/markets\/nestle-india-ltd-share-price-175.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Nestle share price<\/a> was trading 6.4 per cent higher at \u20b91,369 per share. In comparison, the BSE Sensex was up 0.92 per cent at 79,244.12. The stock was in demand after the company released its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.business-standard.com\/companies\/quarterly-results\/nestle-india-ltd-quarterly-results-175\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Q4FY26 results<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tThe fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) company posted a net profit of \u20b91,110.9 crore, as compared to \u20b9873.46 crore a year ago, up 27 per cent Y-o-Y. Its revenue from operations stood at \u20b96,747.79 crore, as against \u20b95,503.88 crore year-on-year (Y-o-Y), up 22.6 per cent.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tAccording to the filing, total sales and domestic sales for the quarter increased by 23.4 per cent and 23.1 per cent, respectively. Domestic sales crossed \u20b96,445 crore. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (Ebitda) margin stood at 26.3 per cent.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\t\u201cI am pleased to share that this quarter, Nestl\u00e9 India delivered high double-digit growth and recorded its highest-ever domestic sales. Cocoa prices remain subdued, reflecting improved supply and moderated demand. Sugar prices remain stable. Edible oil prices are firm and have moved higher in line with global crude oil prices, supported by increased diversion to biodiesel. Wheat has been affected by unseasonal rains in April, resulting in a delayed harvest and lower quantity and quality.
