GENEVA and CONSTAN\u021aA, Romania, April 24, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE)<\/a> — The Geneva College of Longevity Science (GCLS) today announced the launch of the world\u2019s first PhD in Medicine with a specialization in Longevity Sciences, developed in academic partnership with Ovidius University of Constan\u021ba.<\/p>\n

The four-year doctoral program represents a major milestone in the evolution of longevity science, designed to train a new generation of physician-scientists and researchers focused on preventive, healthspan-oriented healthcare and the clinical translation of aging biology.<\/p>\n

“Longevity medicine has reached a point where the science is advancing faster than the institutions required to translate it responsibly into healthcare,\u201d said Dominik Thor, President of GCLS. “With this PhD, we are building the academic and research infrastructure needed to support the field\u2019s long-term development.\u201d<\/p>\n
