{"id":55044,"date":"2026-04-24T14:26:55","date_gmt":"2026-04-24T14:26:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ch\/55044\/"},"modified":"2026-04-24T14:26:55","modified_gmt":"2026-04-24T14:26:55","slug":"howden-hires-head-of-employee-benefits-markets-from-zurich","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ch\/55044\/","title":{"rendered":"Howden hires head of employee benefits markets from Zurich"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Howden has appointed Rob Brown (pictured) as head of employee benefits, Howden Markets.<\/p>\n<p>Brown\u2019s remit will be to lead the development of a clear, scalable market proposition, bringing greater consistency and negotiation strength across global, regional and local markets, and support Howden\u2019s T20 strategy.<\/p>\n<p>He joins Howden to enhance its work with insurers in delivering leading employee benefits\u00a0 programmes worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>Working with Howden colleagues and insurer connections he will use his experience to develop Howden\u2019s global financing and captive programme for employee benefits \u2014 helping clients access more coordinated, effective structures, particularly those headquartered in the US with international programmes.<\/p>\n<p>He brings nearly 25 years\u2019 experience across employee benefits and insurance, and joins from Zurich Insurance Group where hh held senior roles including most recently head of corporate life and pensions for the Middle East.<\/p>\n<p>He will report jointly to Toby Pollard, managing director and head of Howden Markets, and Glenn Thomas, CEO and global practice leader, health and employee benefits.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Howden has appointed Rob Brown (pictured) as head of employee benefits, Howden Markets.
