The January transfer window is now long closed, but Manchester United could still do some loan business with Lausanne.<\/p>\n

Unlike the rest of Europe, the transfer window in Switzerland doesn\u2019t actually close until February 16th, which leaves plenty of time for Manchester United<\/a> to utilise the links with Lausanne.<\/p>\n

Already this year, United sent Sekou Kone on loan<\/a> to the Swiss Super League side. This has seen him link up with United loanee Enzo Kana-Biyik<\/a>, who has spent the season in the Lake Geneva-side city.<\/p>\n

But there are three others who would benefit from a move.<\/p>\n

Will Sekou Kone earn a Manchester United first-team chance while at Lausanne? <\/p>\n

What would he have to do in order to guarantee his place next season?<\/p>\n

For much of the buildup to January, Diego Leon<\/a> was expected to depart for first-team experience.<\/p>\n

Leon was linked with Ineos-owned Nice<\/a>, although ultimately it never came to fruition.<\/p>\n

United believe that Leon is developing well<\/a>, but his performances at U21 are lacking, and he clearly needs to develop playing in professional football.<\/p>\n

Physically, he has all the tools; now his technical class needs to catch up.<\/p>\n

Tyler Fredricson<\/p>\n

Another player who looked set for a January loan was Tyler Fredricson<\/a>, but Lausanne could be a smart move for him to get first-team football this season.<\/p>\n

Fredricson was wanted by Celtic prior to injury<\/a>, which was the deciding reason behind his loan falling through.<\/p>\n

In addition, Fredricson was wanted in Belgium<\/a>, which shows that continental football is on the table, and a move to Lausanne would fill in this gap in his playing time.<\/p>\n

The final name we would consider sending to Lausanne is Jack Fletcher<\/a>, a talented attacking midfielder far too good for academy football, but given the lack of games, is unlikely to add to his appearances for the first team.<\/p>\n

Fletcher was completely misprofiled by Ruben Amorim<\/a> during his brief first-team run, using the 10 as a six.<\/p>\n

Now, his twin brother, Tyler Fletcher, is being used as the fourth-choice central midfielder, and Jack needs minutes. So Lausanne could be a smart move.<\/p>\n
