As early as 1996, in fact, the club chose to temporarily remove the commercial sponsor from its home shirt, replacing it with the message Gemeinsam Gegen Rassismus (Together Against Racism). To mark the 30th anniversary of that stylistic choice, the Swiss club decided to repeat the initiative, temporarily removing the commercial sponsor Plus500 for one league match and bringing that meaningful claim back onto the shirt.

The initiative was unveiled during the home match against Lugano. However, since the game was played during daylight hours, one of the jersey’s most interesting details was not fully visible: the Gemeinsam Gegen Rassismus lettering actually glows in the dark. To further amplify the message, the club also produced a special fanzine outlining its values and principles, focusing on anti-racism and the gradual overcoming, over time, of neo-Nazi positions that were once present among a section of its ultras.

The jersey is available on the club’s website in two versions (replica and authentic), both sold in a special box that also includes the fanzine.
