She added that Switzerland is ready \u201cto support any diplomatic initiative aimed at promoting peace.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Foreign Ministry maintains contacts with all parties involved,\u201d she stressed.<\/p>\n
The statement follows a report by Axios, citing sources familiar with the matter, that Washington and Tehran are close to signing a one-page memorandum intended to end the armed conflict between the two countries.<\/p>\n
According to the report, follow-up negotiations on the details of a broader agreement could be held either in Islamabad or Geneva.<\/p>\n
