GENEVA COUNTY, Ala. (WTVY) – A Florida woman has died following a crash in Geneva County.<\/p>\n
According to county coroner Donny Adkinson, Ruth Lynn Brown, 82 of Bonifay, succumbed to her injuries following the single-vehicle accident, with her vehicle leaving the roadway and hitting a tree.<\/p>\n
The crash happened at around 1:30 p.m. on Thursday along County Road 4 in the Fadette community.<\/p>\n
Along with the Geneva County Coroner\u2019s Office, several agencies responded to the crash scene, including Slocomb Police Department, Slocomb EMS and Geneva County EMA.<\/p>\n
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), who also responded to the scene, are handling the investigation into this crash.<\/p>\n
