FilmNation Entertainment founder and CEO Glen Basner will receive the Game Changer Award at this year\u2019s Zurich Summit, which takes place Sept. 25-27 as part of the Zurich Film Festival.<\/p>\n
The award is in recognition of Basner\u2019s \u201coutstanding achievements, excellent cinematic taste, and significant contributions within the film industry.\u201d<\/p>\n

FilmNation productions have included Sean Baker\u2019s \u201cAnora,\u201d starring Mikey Madison, which won five Oscars including Best Picture and Best Actress, and Edward Berger\u2019s Academy Award-winning \u201cConclave,\u201d starring Ralph Fiennes; and sales for Pablo Larra\u00edn\u2019s Academy Award-nominated \u201cMaria.\u201d<\/p>\n

Prior to FilmNation, Basner was president, international for the Weinstein Company, where he oversaw all international operations, and executive vice president, international sales and distribution at Focus Features. He started his career at the New York-based indie production and sales company Good Machine.<\/p>\n
