UPPER BERN TWP., Pa. – Firefighters from Berks and Schuylkill counties rushed to a warehouse fire in Upper Bern Township Friday morning.<\/p>\n
Crews were dispatched around 9 a.m. to the Amazon warehouse located in the 3500 block of Mountain Road for a reported structure fire.<\/p>\n
Multiple fire trucks with flashing lights could be seen throughout the morning as employees from the evacuated building stood in the parking lot waiting for word on when they could return to their jobs.<\/p>\n
The Pennsylvania State Police fire marshal arrived on scene late in the morning to assess the situation.<\/p>\n
There is no word at this time on any injuries, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.<\/p>\n
