ABB India<\/a>, an integrated power equipment manufacturer, on Friday said its board has approved the appointment of TK Sridhar<\/a> as Managing Director<\/a> of the company with effect from January 1, 2027, for a term of five years, subject to shareholders\u2019 approval.<\/p>\n

The company said the appointment is aimed at ensuring continuity in leadership, strategic execution and long-term value. TK Sridhar<\/a>, who currently serves as Chief Financial Officer<\/a>, has been associated with the ABB Group since 1994 and has held multiple leadership roles<\/a> across finance and business functions.<\/p>\n

The company said he has led several large-scale initiatives, including financial transformation<\/a> programmes, mergers and acquisitions<\/a>, and governance framework strengthening across the organisation.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Sanjeev Sharma<\/a> will complete his tenure as Managing Director<\/a> on December 31, 2026.<\/p>\n

The board has also approved the proposal to appoint Sharma as Non-Executive, Non-Independent Director for a two-year term beginning January 1, 2027, subject to shareholders\u2019 approval.\n <\/p>\n
