(WITN) &#8211; A prominent Eastern Carolina personal injury law firm has announced the death of its founder.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Kellum Law Firm announced that founder Norman Kellum Jr. passed away at 88 yesterday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">According to the firm, Kellum spent more than six decades as a respected trial attorney and became well known across Eastern Carolina, helping grow Kellum Law into one of the state\u2019s most recognized personal injury firms.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The firm said Kellum was known not only for his legal career, but also for being a veteran, a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of New Bern, and for the kindness and personal attention he showed clients and the community.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Kellum Law is asking the community to keep the Kellum family in their thoughts during this difficult time.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 WITN.
