Two interactive stations will be set up:<\/p>\n<p>Aircraft Operations and Rescue: Mercy Flight Central will bring an actual aircraft to demonstrate proper shutdown procedures and techniques for safely removing an unconscious or injured pilot or crew member.<br \/>\nAircraft Fire Suppression Training: The Air National Guard will provide a specialized firefighting training prop\u2014a helicopter fuselage fueled by propane\u2014to simulate a live fire scenario. Firefighters will practice proper extinguishing methods used in aircraft emergencies and crash situations.<\/p>\n<p>Fire officials emphasized that the activity is part of a scheduled training drill and that there is no emergency.<\/p>\n<p>For safety reasons, the training area will be closed to the public.
