Radio Liberty<\/a>.<\/p>\nOn the evening of February 14, the President of Ukraine held a telephone conversation with representatives of the United States: the president\u2019s special envoy Steve Vitkoff and Donald Trump\u2019s son-in-law Jared Kushner. The meeting took place amid preparations for trilateral talks scheduled for next week in Geneva.<\/p>\n

Zelensky expressed hope that the meetings will indeed be productive.<\/p>\n

The president expressed gratitude to the American leadership for maintaining a constructive approach and willingness to help protect people\u2019s lives.<\/p>\n

According to the Office of the President, the new round of talks between Ukraine, Russia, and the United States is planned for February 17\u201318 in Geneva.<\/p>\n
It is expected that further discussions will help determine common approaches to de-escalation and stabilization of the situation in the region.<\/p>\n
