The partnership was revealed at the recently held Karnival Kitar event, according to a report by Scrap Monster published on May 20, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Project SAVE Expansion<\/p>\n<p>Project SAVE, launched in 2020, is currently the largest voluntary recycling platform in Malaysia. Implemented with local councils, waste concessionaires, and recycling firms, the program encourages households to separate recyclable waste for scheduled doorstep collection. It now serves approximately 260,000 homes across nine Malaysian cities.<\/p>\n<p>Kulim Pilot Project<\/p>\n<p>Launched this year, the Kulim pilot project has collected about 100,000 kilograms of recyclable waste, including nearly 28,000 kilograms of plastics. The expansion will extend recycling collection activities in Kulim, supporting broader community participation under the company&#8217;s voluntary Extended Producer Responsibility initiative.<\/p>\n<p>2025 Impact Figures<\/p>\n<p>Figures released for 2025 indicate that Project SAVE resulted in the diversion of approximately 15,000 tonnes of waste from landfills and marine environments, including nearly 10,000 tonnes of plastic materials.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t1.
