The company said its success had been built on good governance, product innovation, efforts to meet Thai consumer demand and continued support for Thai coffee farmers.<\/p>\n<p>            <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/lg-webp.webp\" alt=\"Nestl\u00e9-Mahagitsiri Nescaf\u00e9 dispute deepens after court rulings\" class=\"img-fluid w-100 showcaption-false\" style=\"width: 1080px; height: 720px;\" width=\"1080\" height=\"720\" loading=\"lazy\"\/>\n        <\/p>\n<p>Nestl\u00e9 said it had long been a major buyer of coffee beans grown in Thailand and remained committed to supporting Thai coffee growers.<\/p>\n<p>The company said Nescaf\u00e9 products had previously been made in Thailand by QCP, which was jointly owned equally by Nestl\u00e9 and the Mahagitsiri family. Under the joint venture agreement, Nestl\u00e9 said it had management authority over QCP, including production, distribution and marketing of Nescaf\u00e9 products. It also said the technology and intellectual property used to produce Nescaf\u00e9 belonged to Nestl\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Nestl\u00e9 said the termination of the QCP agreement had been submitted to an international arbitral tribunal, which ruled on December 20, 2024, that the termination of all agreements was lawful under the relevant contracts.<\/p>\n<p>The company added that subsequent petitions filed by the other shareholder side with the Singapore court were also dismissed. Nestl\u00e9 said the Singapore High Court issued a ruling on March 4, 2026, upholding the arbitral tribunal\u2019s award, confirming finally that the termination of the QCP agreement was lawful.<\/p>\n<p>The company said the other QCP shareholder had acknowledged the court ruling and paid litigation costs as ordered by the court.<\/p>\n<p>A previous Nation Thailand report also noted that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nationthailand.com\/business\/corporate\/40066495?utm_source=chatgpt.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">High Court of Singapore and an international tribunal had ruled in favour of Nestl\u00e9<\/a> in the dispute over QCP\u2019s Nescaf\u00e9 production rights.<\/p>\n<p>In Thailand, a civil case filed by Prayudh Mahagitsiri and his family against Nestl\u00e9 and its affiliates is still ongoing. Nestl\u00e9 said the president of the Court of Appeal for Specialised Cases had ordered the case to be transferred to the Central Intellectual Property and International Trade Court, which has direct jurisdiction. The case is currently under court consideration.<\/p>\n<p>Nestl\u00e9 said it remained committed to good governance, strict legal compliance and full cooperation with government agencies and justice-related authorities.
