{"id":71705,"date":"2026-05-25T15:20:09","date_gmt":"2026-05-25T15:20:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ch\/71705\/"},"modified":"2026-05-25T15:20:09","modified_gmt":"2026-05-25T15:20:09","slug":"eni-moves-forward-with-third-chapter-of-oil-gas-project-in-west-africa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ch\/71705\/","title":{"rendered":"Eni moves forward with third chapter of oil &#038; gas project in West Africa"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Italy\u2019s energy giant Eni has made a final investment decision (FID) for the next phase of its oil and gas development project off the coast of C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire, West Africa. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"840\" height=\"473\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Eni_Baleine-01_horizontal-16-9.jpg\" alt=\"Baleine; Source: Eni\" class=\"wp-image-796154\"  \/>Baleine; Source: Eni<\/p>\n<p>Eni and its partners, Petroci and Vitol, have approved the final investment decision for the Baleine Phase 3\u00a0project, said to mark a significant milestone in the development of the largest hydrocarbon discovery ever made in the country.<\/p>\n<p>The full-field Phase 3 development will increase oil production from 60,000 to 150,000 barrels per day and gas output from 80 to 200 million cubic feet per day.
