The piece that the Swiss representative will perform at Eurovision Young Musicians 2026 has been revealed by the Swiss broadcaster SRF.<\/p>\n
SRF has revealed that Manoush Toth will perform the third movement from Clara Schumann\u2019s Piano Concerto in A minor, Op. 7, at Eurovision Young Musicians 2026. Clara Schumann was a German pianist and composer who composed the piece between 1834 and 1835. Manoush commented on the piece:<\/p>\n
\u201cClara Schumann wrote the third movement of her piano concerto at just 13 years old. For me, it is a particular joy to perform this fantastic piano concerto on this important stage with a wonderful orchestra and conductor.<\/p>\n
I recently heard the orchestra here in Basel, with the same conductor. And I thought both the orchestra and the conductor were incredibly wonderful. That\u2019s why I\u2019m so excited to make music with them.\u201d<\/p>\n
19-year-old Manoush Toth will represent Switzerland this June in Eurovision Young Musicians 2026. The pianist was selected in March to represent Switzerland in Armenia. A pre-selection was held to review all the applications with seven musicians invited to the radio hall at the SRF campus in Zurich-Leutschenbach to perform for a jury. The jury that selected the overall winner was formed of bassoonist Valeria Curti, pianist Oliver Schnyder, violinist Meret L\u00fcthi, and classical music influencer Sumina Studer.<\/p>\n
SRF has revealed that across radio and television, a series of shows will follow Manoush\u2019s participation in Eurovision Young Musicians. The final will air on SRF 1 and Play SRF from 22:10 CET on June 6, with the show airing on Radio SRF 2 Kultur on June 7 from 16:00 CEST. <\/p>\n
