(WITN) &#8211; Sections of a road in New Bern are set to be closed overnight as crews work to repair a gas line. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">New Bern Fire-Rescue says a few sections of South Glenburnie Road will be closed overnight as a crew works to repair the issue with the gas line by their Elizabeth Avenue station. This repair comes after the fire station received reports of a gas smell in the area.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Officials say travel should not be impacted, but ask drivers to pay close attention and drive safely when coming through the area.<\/p>\n<p class=\"copyright |\">Copyright 2026 WITN.
