The limited-edition dough gives the classic sugar cookie a patriotic makeover<\/a>, with red, white, and blue candy bits<\/a> that bake right into each cookie for a colorful crunch.<\/p>\n

The package may not come right out and say it, but this launch feels like a pretty clear nod to America’s 250th birthday<\/a> celebration this July 4. After seeing patriotic treats pop up from Duncan Hines, Pillsbury<\/a>, Betty Crocker<\/a>, and just about every other food brand<\/a> ahead of the big celebration, it would be more surprising if Nestl\u00e9 Toll House didn’t join the party.<\/p>\n
